I was fortunate enough to be included in Vanilla Forum’s 2017 Forecasts for Community Management e-book. When I made the career shift to Community Management I was so grateful for resources like Vanilla Forum’s Blog, the CMX Community and other thought leaders willing to share their experience and insight into how to build successful and impactful communities.
It’s amazing that I am now able to share my insights and what I have learned in a little over a year of working in the industry. While I still have a lot more to learn, I find that building and managing two very different communities with two very different missions has helped me greatly. I believe that building community and activating its users for your brand or cause will be increasingly important and inevitable in the future and I look forward to being a part of that growth in any way possible.
